Why Can't I play video?

To solve this problem, please try to switch decoder:
1. Tap '...' button on top right of playback screen;
2. Select 'Decoder';
3. Switch to another decoder (eg. switch HW to SW)

Why Can't I play 4k video?

4k video playback depends on your device performance. In generally, it performs better if your phone's camera supports 4k video recording. And we are still working hard to improve it for all the phones. If you have any questions, please contact us at xplayer.feedback@gmail.com.

How to cast?

1. Make sure your phone is connected to the same wifi as Chromecast.
2. Make sure your video format is supported by Chromecast. Learn more.
3. Then a cast button will appear in the top right of the playback screen. Tap to cast.

Why didn't I see Cast button when playing?

We support Google Cast for now. When the video you are playing is supported by Google Cast and Google Cast is connected to the same Wi-Fi network with your phone, the Cast button appears.

Why is video locking failed?

When the video you tried to lock is located in SD card and the internal storage is insufficient, the problem will happen. To solve it, please move the video to a specified path in internal storage and make sure you have enough internal storage.

I locked the video, but why is it still displayed in folder list?

The reason may be that the video you locked is located in SD card. Since we don't have the permission to modify files in SD card, all the video folders in your device will be displayed in folder list. You can solve it in the following ways:
1. Move the video from SD card to your phone.
2. Hide the video by: Settings > Manage ScanList.

Why does it take so long to show the folder list?

When you startup the application, it will scan all the folders in your device. To reduce the scanning time, you can hide the folder by: Settings > Manage ScanList. Or delete some video files in your device.
